Stephen & Lisa: Greenville, SC

What can I say...I am crazy about these two! I have known Stephen for a few years now, and I adore  him to pieces! While I am just getting to know Lisa the more I spend time with her the more I adore her as well! She has mastered the art of keeping Stephen in line! Just kidding...

I met them at a farm near Stephen's family lake house to shoot their Engagement Session, and we absolutely had a blast! They are so sweet with each other, and that always makes my job as the photographer easier. I love it when I have the chance to photograph couples who are truly interested in having fun, and are willing to relax in front of the camera... these two had no problem with that!

Stephen and Lisa I pray that the next 10 months of planning your wedding will be full of laughter and love... and most of all... know that your bond with each other is only as strong as your commitment to Christ!

Agee Taylor: Raleigh NC

Moving to a new city, while exciting, is always on some level a frighting experience. I have done this twice in the last few years, and I would like to share a few things that I have learned in the process.
It is very easy for me to get comfortable in my work life. I tend to stick with what and who I know, however when you are forced into a situation where you do not know anyone:
You have to understand the importance of relationships with others.
You must be confident in yourself, and the work that you produce.
You need to promote yourself in every area of your life.
Step out of your box both creatively and personally...
I received a gift to a Natural Body Spa from one of my brides in Atlanta, and thankfully there is a Natural Body in Raleigh (Thank you so much Janice! You are the best). While I waited to be massaged into heavenly bliss I spoke with the ladies behind the desk about the wedding industry in Raleigh. I asked them who I needed to connect with (the who's who of the area), where the leading salons, bridal boutiques, and leading venues in the area are located.
After one of the best massages of my life I walked through a few savvy boutiques, and in the process I had the pleasure of meeting Agee. She is stunning, and I wanted to share a few of the images that we created during the shoot that I had with her last week.
I would like to thank the Renaissance Hotel in Raleigh, NC for allowing me to shoot in their lobby!

I leave you with this...even if you have no plans to move to a new city... Believe in yourself, make it a goal each day to meet new people, do not be afraid to hand your card to a total stranger, and choose to be open to the direction that God has for your life. I am always amazed at the doors He opens on my behalf when I simply trust in Him and the woman that He is creating in me.
