Sutton Mill

If you have not checked out this gracefully rustic southern Mill...you should! Few venues have the ability to take you back in time, however as I sit in the breeze, by the water, at Sutton Mill I find myself imagining a wedding in the 1800 with a horse and carriage whisking the blissfully happy couple down the manicured gravel lane that awaits!
Here are a few of the images that I captured for Sutton Mill durning a wedding a few weeks ago...

Buford Sports and Fitness

I have had the privildge to workout with Henderson (owner of Buford Sports and Fitness), www.bufordsportsandfitness.com, and he is one of the best motivators I have ever met! He can push you through the pain of trembling muscles, and make you WANT to move to the next set... I have no idea how he does it! When he asked me to shoot these images for a magazine feature and promotion I was so excited! He is in perfect shape and knew exactly what he wanted! We had a blast, and here are a few of my favorite images from the shoot!

Colleen & Rhys

The first time that I met Colleen I was about to begin a bridal fashion shoot at Montaluce Winery for Soirees Southern Events Magazine, and I could tell that she was sitting back taking it all in! I received a call the next day from her wedding planner, Christi Franklin (www.christisbridal.com), to set up a meeting to photograph Colleen and Rhys's wedding! I was honored! Not only is Colleen stunning...she is as precious as they come! To first meet Colleen she is very reserved and quiet, however the beauty and depth that lies beneath her reserve is astonishing!
During Colleen's bridal session we sat down in the park for about twenty minutes to wait for the "sweet light" that hits Piedmont Park in the evening, so we had the chance to have an in depth conversation! One of the questions I asked her was "how do you know that Rhys is 'The One'", and I can completely relate to her answer... She told me that she still gets weak in the knees when he walks into the room and tingles with butterflies each time that his lips touch hers! As we sat in the park on that beautiful fall evening both of us beamed with the thought of falling in love with "The One"!
One thing that I realized on their wedding day was that heart felt comments in their relationship are not one sided! Word spread quickly during the hours before the wedding that while having a conversation with his father Rhys said "Dad I can't wait to get married...I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Colleen..."!
And the rest is just beginning....
