A Miracle in the Making! Please Pray...

I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and I have seen His miraculous healing power! With that said, I want to tell you about the struggles of one of my beautiful couples! They were married this past April in Dahlonagh GA, in one of the most touching ceremonies I have had the privilege of witnessing! However, only weeks after this blessed day they find out that Jessica's father has cancer that is spreading through out his entire body!
I connect with all of my clients, and I do my best to stay connected with them as they begin their new life together! I believe that God brings people together for more than surface level relationships, and it is our job to love one another. So, I get a call from Jessica once they find out what is going on, and all she asked of me is that I pray! I did, and I have been since that day!
Jess's dad has now been put into the ICU in Atlanta, and the doctors are telling the family that "it is only a matter of time". He is so weak that his body can not handle any cemo or radiation. So the treatments have stopped for now.
Well, Chris and Jessica's wedding album was ready for them to have yesterday, but Jess didn't want to leave her dad... So, I happily make the drive over to the hospital to personally deliver  their album to them! But I was not expecting what I was about to walk into! Jessica has not showered, her eyes are sleepy and I could tell that she just needed a break, but the words that came out of her mouth were unbelievable!
"The doctors are saying one thing, but we are believing another! Dad wants to live... he's body has no energy, but he is fighting with all that he has. And, if he is not ready to give up, then we will never give up" When the world is crashing in on them they are standing firm on the promises of God and the faith that all they have to do is simply touch the hem of His garment!
With no medication running through Michael's body this could be the set up for God's miraculous healing, and I'm choosing to believe that! My prayer is the God Shows off in this situation and that He alone receives all the glory!
Please pray along with Jessica and Chris, their family and friends, and me for Michael's Amazing Miracle!!!

Rainy days!

I get asked frequently by clients if we should reschedule on cloudy days, and my answer (unless the rain is relentless) is usually no! I love unpredictable cloudy days, because I am usually pleasantly surprised at what the weather will end up doing! The grass is greener, the clouds offer a moody feel, or the sunset is stunning! With the torrential rain falls that we have had in Atl this week I knew that there would be the "chance" of rain when I scheduled this session with Steven, but like always I was thrilled with the outcome!
Jaemor Farms was kind enough to allow us to shoot in the vineyard after hours! And... as the sun lit the dewy land the magic began! So... I challenge you to embrace the gray days as well as the days with cloudless skies!

A Day in the Mountains Bridal Event

Check out the Bridal Event that R Ranch in Dahlonega, GA hosted yesterday! I was invited to photograph the showcasing of Christi's Bridal runway, and as the event unfolded I was blown away at the level of taste and sophistication that Christi's Bridal offers! Each gown was breathtaking as the trains swept across the dance floor, and the brides-to-be watched in awe to find their "perfect dress"!

I'm always honored to be a part of such an incredible event!

Thank you Cindy, of Cynthia's Events, and Christi, of Christi's Bridal and Formal Wear (www.christisbridal.com) for trusting me to capture this spectacular event for you! I know that when I'm a part of anything that you have a hand in that it will be flawless!
