Meredith & Chad Mini Engagement Session: South Carolina Wedding Photographer

Meet my cousin Meredith, and her fiance Chad! Growing up Meredith was always the "Baby" of our very close knit family, and I have to admit that when I was in front of the two of them at 7:00 in the morning for their Mini Session, before church, I could not believe my eyes... I stood there thinking "My "baby" has become a woman, and I am photographing her Engagement Pictures right now!" Although I have to admit the other thought running through my mind was how delicious my Aunt Susan's homemade breakfast was going to be as soon as we finished shooting!
I am so excited for them, and this journey that they are taking together! I hope you enjoy....

Andrew & Janice: Charleston Wedding Photographer

As a photographer I look for ways to give to others. Giving to others people is one of the best blessings I can give to myself, because at the end of the day I feel on top of the world... I remember the moment this wedding became a reality for me. I was standing in my kitchen with Sherri Christensen from
Soirees Southern Events Magazine talking about an event she was planning that would raise money for Breast Cancer. As the conversation continued she mentioned an idea to give away a wedding to a woman who was fighting Breast Cancer or had recently completed treatment. I was all aboard before she even asked me if I would consider being the sponsoring photographer.... I was elated to be a part of this special gift. Once the bride was selected however plans changed a little...the couple wanted to get married in Charleston not Atlanta! Guess what...I'm still all in! I had no problem traveling home to be a part of Janice and Andrew's wedding day! I had the opportunity to get to know this wonderful couple over the few months preceding their wedding and I can say without hesitation that I was the one who was blessed through this experience!

You see Janice is one of the youngest Breast Cancer Survivors. At age 22 she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had the battle of a lifetime...literally. Three weeks before she graduated, receiving a Bachelors Degree from GA Tech, her world was rocked with the news that she had Breast Cancer. With all of the changes that took place in her life she still managed to complete the Masters Program at GA Tech in Structural Engineering! She and her wonderful husband Andrew are kind hearted, and loving, to one another and to others! I am so thankful to have been apart of their wedding day experience!
