Cody Kelley: Senior Session

1960's model Ford Mustangs....AMAZING! I REALLY want a red or blue Mustang convertible (1965-1969), so when I found out that Cody has a silver and black '65  I could not wait to include it in our shoot! I am doing two sessions with Cody and these are a few images from the first set! He wanted an Urban/Rustic feel so I set out to find the perfect garage to park that beautiful car in front of! In the search for perfection I found a few places that I felt fit the look that he was after!
Cody thank you for letting be be a part of your senior year!

Magan & Grant

When Magan sat down in December to talk with me about photographing their wedding I found myself saying... "I REALLY hope they choose me to photograph their day...."!
Well they did, and I am SO excited that I am able to be such a large part of the memories that Magan and Grant will hold onto for the rest of their lives!
As Amber and I began to photograph the bridal party it sprinkled as lightly as it possibly could! I have always heard that if it rains on your wedding day, then your marriage will be blessed! Well this was obviously an outdoor wedding, and EVERYONE was praying that the rain would go away! It did.. without ever forcing us to go inside! As Magan's father turned the corner, with his daughter by his side, the sun broke through the clouds, and you could almost hear the guest catch their breathe!
And the rest is history....

Come to find out there was a large thunderstorm going on all around in the towns surrounding the wedding location... What a blessing!

Hudson

As I hit the road to Charlotte yesterday I began to think about how much life changes! You go from being a energetic little boy or a prissy little girl running around Sunday lunches at church... to adults with beautiful lives that no one could have predicted!  Hudson's dad and I grew up going to the same church and I absolutely adore his family! If you would have told me 15 years ago that Jim would play NFL Football and that I would own my own Studio...I would have said... those are just big dreams, but it would be really cool!
Well, dreams do come true... with a lot of hard work!
Jim has gone on to play NFL Football for the NY Giants, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins.....
Jim and his beautiful wife Lindsey are now proud parents of a handsome little one, Hudson, and I am honored to have had the chance to spend some time yesterday getting to photograph him!
I told Lindsey and Jim in the beginning how sweet they were being with Hudson, but I  watched the love and patience that both of them offered him, as well as each other, as the day went on! It was amazing! They are great parents!
Here are a few of my favorite images of this good looking little man!

GAME DAY!!!!!
